The Packers Win!
The Green Bay Packers have won the Super Bowl! They beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 in Super Bowl XLV on February 6.

I watched the game from the press area inside Cowboys Stadium. I had a great view of the action! I felt like a movie star. Every seat in the stadium was filled with excited football fans.

The Packers were able to jump out to an early lead. They scored their first touchdown with 3 minutes and 44 seconds left in the first quarter when wide receiver Jordy Nelson caught a 29-yard pass from quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Twenty four seconds later, Packers free safety Nick Collins intercepted a pass by Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and returned it for a touchdown. That was the most exciting play of the game! I couldn’t believe Green Bay was able to score two touchdowns so quickly. That put the Packers ahead 14-0 by the end of the first quarter.

Over the next three quarters, the Steelers were able to come back. They scored 25 points. But that wasn’t enough to stop the Packers, who added two more touchdowns and a field goal. In the end, it was a very close and exciting game.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers spoke to reporters after being named the MVP of Super Bowl XLV.

After the end of the Super Bowl, I got to interview Greg Jennings, a wide receiver for the Packers. He scored two touchdowns! I asked him about his favorite play of the game. “My favorite play … was the last play when Aaron [Rodgers] took a knee and we were Super Bowl champs!”

This week has been the best time of my life! I’m so happy I was able to go to Super Bowl XLV. I will always remember this experience!
